The Dual White LED Ribbon is perfect as a task light or dimmed for an ambient light with the added bonus of being able to change the colour temperature.

With the remote you can set it to 100% bright in cool white to be used as task lighting then change it to a warmer, dimmer soft light when entertaining or just to set the perfect combination of cool/warm and brightness to suite your kitchen/entertainment unit or display.
